Geocaching!

Haven't posted anything on my blog for a while because I've been preoccupied with stuff. School and shit, you know?

What I wanted to share today was something called Geocaching. It looks totally rad and I want to do it.

My Senior Project!

For my senior project (I'm class of 2010), I created a stop motion animation of what I love, Mega Man. I just thought I'd share it all with you.

Addicted to Batman

So, in the recent weeks I've been playing Batman: Arkham Asylum at ton at my friend's house. Well, not really. I'm not playing the actual game, just the first challenge mode and its extreme counterpart.
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Let me just take a moment to express the intense love I have for that game's combat system. It is surprisingly in-depth and simple at the same time; it really is remarkable. For the longest time I wasn't aware of the combat intricacies and I just mashed X (for strike) and Y (for counters). I didn't use the cape or jump or anything like that. When my friend explained it to me, I was astounded. I was having a blast mashing X and Y. I realized that the creator's of the game did a fantastic job of making the combat fun for anyone.

This man is a god.

Dollhouse, Somewhat Disappointing...

As a fan of Joss Whedon's work, I had to check out Dollhouse. Before I even knew what it was about I had heard a lot of negative response to Dollhouse. This surprised me because Joss Whedon was known for the critically-acclaimed television series Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly. (And as a testament to my fandom of Joss Whedon, I am actually wearing a Serenity shirt as I type this.)

Angel
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Firefly
I like the premise of Dollhouse. It's a very interesting topic. It has great underlying themes, but it just falls short of something meaningful. I heard from a friend that the studio tried to take control of Joss Whedon and forced him to make Dollhouse different from what he had envisioned. And I can really see that. There is that genuine Joss Whedon aura, but it gets shrouded by something different.

Let's give this a go!

Time to see what the hub-bub is all about with "blogs" and such. Granted this won't win any Emmy's, this blog won't be Sing-Along by any means.

I think this blog will just be a random assortment of ideas and such that pop into my head. Or perhaps just a synopsis of anything interesting that may happen to me in my daily life.

There will not be any singing on this blog.
