Addicted to Batman
So, in the recent weeks I've been playing Batman: Arkham Asylum at ton at my friend's house. Well, not really. I'm not playing the actual game, just the first challenge mode and its extreme counterpart.
Let me just take a moment to express the intense love I have for that game's combat system. It is surprisingly in-depth and simple at the same time; it really is remarkable. For the longest time I wasn't aware of the combat intricacies and I just mashed X (for strike) and Y (for counters). I didn't use the cape or jump or anything like that. When my friend explained it to me, I was astounded. I was having a blast mashing X and Y. I realized that the creator's of the game did a fantastic job of making the combat fun for anyone.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed that game a bunch, it's extremely well done and plays really well, and captures Batman and the villains well. Definitely worth the purchase. And there's a sequel coming out as well, if I remember right.

ReplyDeleteyou know i remember seeing the game advertised but I figured it was just another lame movie game. It looks kind of bad ass. Another movie game I liked was spider man 3 for playstation 2 omg that was awesome.
